Nothing wrong with trying something a little different.
I dig the two tone jobby on the rims.

I hear ya on the purple. The girl friend had a good laugh when i brought it home. It had been sitting for about 20 years. I may work on it to bring back the original black underneath.

I like the patina of the purple giving way to the former color. |
