Looks like a reverse-rake competition. :D

so that there's no confusion, this must be a modified class, not stock

I didnt mind what I paid for 2 vender spots, Just wish they would drop the general admission price. There would be more people, and the track could sell more burgers and beer. I dont think the operating costs go up cause there s a couple hundred more people. I like the idea of coupons that Jeff mentioned. To the scum bag that stole my door handles, remember, Karma's a bitch

Thanks for all your hard work Jeff and crew.

Me and the girls had a great day. The weather turned out perfect for E-town. It was really good to catch up with all the friends after the long winter. The cruise down was one of my favorites also.

We had to leave a bit early due to my 3 years old melting away slowly, but I have to give it to the girls for being so well all day. Hopefully one day they will be taking the old man's vw down to the show. I got an oval windshield in the swap which I could use.

Good time

Heading home, works every time.

Thanks to everyone for working hard and having fun.

To the dirt bag who took the handles, I hope you feel bad every time you open your door. If it even runs.

I let a fantastic one go for $35...complete too.
I was asking more but I was content with that, and the buyer was really stoked to get it.

I picked up a few bargains myself and saw even more deals happen right in front of me while I was out shopping...

I think the folks that "never find anything" or don't seem to find what they are after are looking for things that are getting to be impossible to find anywhere, anyhow...
Like Split or Oval parts for example.
Ovals are 55 years old or so now, so the possibility of someone showing up at any given event with a pile of choice or NOS stuff that "Grandpa had in the barn" is pretty slim.
25 years ago that would happen occasionally, ( and even then, mostly with 60's parts more then Ovals ) but anymore if someone has a bunch of nice stuff like that, they know what they have and either hoard it for they're own projects, or ask accordingly for it... Usually online.

Just my .02

I would love to see an overhead pic of that swap from the bleachers...did anybody take one ?

Not true. Plenty of those parts laying around at the west coast shows.

We called it the Orange Grove! Most Supers tend to sag in the rear with the struts pushing the front up and most owners not caring to go through rear swing arm adjustments....these were all 71-73 Supers in VW Bright Orange, mines 2nd from the left...now wasn't that worth $20 to see? many folks sure were delighted by this, there was always a group stopping and taking pictures of this impromptu gathering....

Man, I wish I got that body. The frame and body where around $400 total. To many toys right now. That Vender (bugcity) has the mold for those bodies, so they are available for now. Like all things, not forever.

E-TOWN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
