:?: [b]I am looking for someone who has installed or know a shop that has installed a Porsche 901 Trans in a IRS Notchback. I have seen the info with regards to the Type 1 installation and it's great. But the IRS Type 3 does not have the trany horns like the Tpre 1 IRS rear end. If any one can kelp please do so, if your not sure then please don't respond to this topic. I am out of time and need to get this trany installed now and I live in Las Vegas.

its not that hard to weld tranny horns onto your irs rear end, thats what im doing for my type 4 engine install in mine. then everything else should be the exact same as the bug install. the only thing i am not sure about is the shift linkage. germanlook.com and cal-look.com have good walkthroughs on this conversion.

oh BTW, if you dont have time, DONT do this conversion, its not a simple drop in, requires some fabricating skills etc
