| Aside from the 1974 dealership accessories brochure I found in my current bug the only other notable thing I've found in one of the others was an unsmoked joint someone had dropped down the side of the seat and tunnel. |

Found out I had a late replacement wiper switch, already wired up the electric washer to the stalk, intermittent here I come!
Oh, and found pot stems in the rear seat ashtray some 15 years after owning my old 68. |

Not particularly cool, but when I got my bug the ashtray was full of roaches (not the insect kind). Now whenever I pull interior stuff apart, about half the time I find some sort of contraband.
PO said it was his kid's school car. |

| i bought 2 1973 bugs out of the woods in some guys back yard, in one i found nothing but rust, bugs, and dead mice. the other one had a piece of paper that was a little chewed on that was a printout to pick your teams and place bets for the 91 college football bowl games. if they had not been redone previously by some shade tree mechanic then they might have had some other cooler stuff. |

You realize that beetles made in Germany can be used there well after their build date right? No time machine required
The woman who owned it bought it and used it in Germany for years until she finally brought it to Canada. |
