I took care of the low idle mixture set points. During that process I turned in the bypass screws (all- in) per instructions. It seems to pull hard but I think it could be leaner. Anyone have a base point for this adjustment?

1835 w/ dual 44's

Thanks...

If the throttle plates are closed all the way and it's idling fine the bypass screws should be closed.

If you need to open the throttle plates to get it to idle, the transition ports will be uncovered and it will not drive well*. Then you need to crack open the bypass screws until you can return the throttle plates to their proper, closed, position...

Those screws are only used for syncing each barrel with a meter. If you want to go leaner, you'll have to change the jets.

Here's a thread about 44's on an 1835 that may help...
