| So I bought an 84 rabbit convertible. It needs a top and a hood. Only paid 600 for it. Is there any import places you would suggest? Has anybody got good fuel mileage with a Weber conversion? |

There are a handful of good places out there. www.germanautoparts.com is great for mechanical stuff. Advance autoparts can order stuff through a company called IMC which is a good resource. You could probably buy a decent used hood from the classifieds for a good price. For the top I have heard of a few people ordering stuff from these guys. www.jbugs.com.
I work with a company called International parts store that deals with a lot of VW stuff. They have a branch in Indiana that may be closer to you. The number there is 1-800-237-6598. |
