I have taken my shifter out of my 72 Ghia
I'm trying to put it back, but im not having any luck, whenever i bolt it in, i cant move through all of my gears. I've tried searching youtube and google with no such luck
Any ideas where i can find a step-by-step shifter replacement DIY? |

You probably put the reverse lockout plate in wrong. See this topic for details:

The spring goes between the shifter base and the reverse lockout plate.
Tried to find an exploded view here, but I found one on STF:
