Just wanted to suggest to admin that a wiki be added to The Samba. There are a few how-to wikis out there that have established a pretty good model like ifixit.com.
Developed and maintained by existing Samba users, it could include VW history, how-to articles, and so on. Currently, I, like many users, use the forums as the knowledge base for technical information but something like a wiki could be more organized and constantly improved.
Other examples include - http://www.wikiautorepair.org. It looks great but lacks the community the The Samba already has built in.
There's the idea. Take it or leave it. Either way, this is still the best site ever. Keep it up. |
