| Picked up a trike project with a pan vin of 133xxetc. I'm stumped as to just what it came from! Would appreciate any help finding what year/car it came from. Thanx, John |

| 133 would have been a Super Beetle model from 1973. The charts often neglect the Supers and Convertibles - Supers start with 13, Convertibles start with 15. (Ghias were 14) As a trike only use the middle/rear parts of the frame, you probably won't see any other signs of it being a Super other than the chassis number. |

Thanx, I had looked in all my books, even the section on VIN's here on theSamba with no luck. The rear end is all that was left of a VW. It has no papers but I traded for it just for parts. It has a Honda(yuck) 750 front forks on it, a real pos.

Something that might look good on a VW trike front end would be a Honda 350X ATC fork. I put a shortened one on a Rokon RT140. You'd need to swap the rim and tire for something suitable but I expect it'd look pretty impressive with the massive triple trees. Its even got a dual piston caliper.
