Is this vdo oil temp gauge restorable in your opinion ?
Are the two small wires attached to the face screws original ? |

| Looks more like the face is cracked than wires. |

| The wires are detents and all oiltemp gauges had them originally. Without the original "swan neck" dipstick sending unit though it's not going to be possible to get the gauge to function unless all the guts are swapped out with modern parts. |
