Mazuro Motors in Warren used to do VW and Porsche but they may not do any VW work anymore. My father has a Type 4 crank and Rods that they reground and rebushed and the work they did was excellent. If they cannot do the work you are looking for anymore they might be able to tell you who can.
I'm on the west side of the state, Grand Rapids, and there are a few shops that can do crank, rod, and head work and do it well but for align bores you'll probably have to send it out. |
