Not sure about what brand to choose from, ask at the store when you mention the year and model and spend a little extra to get the more expensive option. It'll be worth it in the long run.
If you have a repair manual to detail the step by step disconnections and $100 worth of tools its pretty straightforward. You can get by without using a clutch alignment tool by using a screwdriver or broom handle, but they are less than $10 if you want to invest in the proper tool.
The best advice i can give from bitter experience is to have good axle stands, a high lift trolley jack and to never try and lift up the car by placing the jack anywhere on the bottom of the engine or you'll make oil leaks and ruin your new clutch pretty quickly. |

If you're doing this job because the previous clutch was slipping, then refurface of flywheel and new pressure plate are a must.
If just normal wear and tear, you might just get by with a new disc and a new throwout bearing.
Anyway - IMPORTANT - you need a pressure plate WITHOUT the center ring for a 1972 transmission. |
