My '72 has been running rough so I pulled one of the plugs. It was covered with dry, black accumulation. I changed the plugs recently.
I believe that I have my carburetor adjusted properly. Timing is good. Choke is adjusted for warmer weather.
Any thoughts on what's wrong? |

That ususally indicates it's running way too rich. If it was oily and black, then that would indicate oil control problems, but since it's dry...

| Have a look at the choke. If the wire has fallen off,or the coil is burned out,or if it's just plain stuck/out of adjustment it's gonna run rich. |
