Does anybody know the thread size on the big nut and small nut axle?
I guess the girth of it is what I'm looking for. |

nobody yet?
I'm at work now and I'm just being lazy trying to avoid having to take a bub cap off one of my buses and doing it myself when I get out of work later. |

| You're looking for the diameter, not the thread pitch? |

I just grabbed my calipers and measured a big nut tans that's sitting on my trailer.
28.5mm diameter measured at the bottoms of the thread troughs.
29.7 measured to the crests of the threads.
I'm not a machinist, so I don't know exactly how to determine the actual diameter from those numbers. |

:D
I'm not much less lazy, as I only had to walk 20 steps to my shop for the caliper, pen and paper. Then about 30 steps to the tranny. The hardest part was lifting the wet tarp and bending over long enough to take the measurements.
I think I need a nap. |

Yawn...I just woke up, and I had this crazy dream that I just installed the 1600 DP that I have been working on for the last few days. Then it wouldn't start because the battery was dead. I was just finishing the charger hookup when my alarm went off.
I hate it when the dream ends before I get to go for a spin. |
