| What is typically wrong and needing to fix when the stub axel is loose? Unlike the big nut I can't just tighten it up...can I? |

| Yours has no "pinch" nut on the inner side of the stub axle like the later ones. If it has too much movement, a ball bearing is bad, or maybe one or both ball bearings on the long axle above it. The good news is that, unlike the stronger roller bearing on a 46 mm stub axle, the ball bearing does not cost that much. |
