Hey all just got my first beetle for a restore project. I purchased a rolling chassis w/ no motor. Body and Chassis don't match but that doesn't bother me. This will be a frame up restoration. starting with new floor pans currently on order. Here are some pics wish me luck.

Thanks for the encouragement I have most of the body torn down and frame bolts removed still looking for others can't find the darn things lol I got all the ones along the running boards and the two by the rear axle I'm sure there are some up front I need to get but I'll look closer this weekend or later this evening when it cools down. Gotta love desert living lol 105 outside.

2 10mm in front of the gas tank that go into the front beam, 2 more 10mm on each side up front underneath, 1 8mm in each rear fender wheel well, 6 or so 8mm going acround the back of the pan, under the back seat area, inside the car. You'll know when you got them all. Have fun!

Success!!! Thanks for the help on where to find the other bolts the frame is now loosened from the chassis :) This weekend I will have a buddy help me remove it completely and put on blocks while I work on getting the chassis ready. I'm considering replacing both left and right whole pans even though I really only need the battery portion. Hmmm.... what to do .....
