| My interior mirror is loose and vibrates out of position. Is there a way to tighten the mirror on the ball? |

Inside that mirror is a spring plate that applies friction on the ball. You have to get inside behind the glass to see if the plate is in the right position. Behind the glass is a sheet of cardboard then a steel piece that has folded tabs to hold the spring plate in position. If these tabs are broken the tension is much reduced and you get a floppy mirror.
It might be easier to get another mirror. They often appear in the classifieds
