| ok on my 55 i need shock end casting with angled shock mounts ,mine are straight an won't work for what I'm trying to do....how hard it it to swap out the casting or would it be easier to swap out complete axle tubes....how do you get the pins out to remove the casting,the car is apart so i can't take it to a shop :cry: .......THANKS |

| Just find a set of later short tubes and swap them over, but be sure to grab the later bearing retaining caps too. |

| was browsing samba for tubes ...will type 3 tubes swap out on a bug or are they a different animal? |

| There should be a few up for grabs in the classifieds, you should be looking at 58-64 Beetle tubes |
