Anyone seen one of these before?
I saw it on eBay recently, the description is:
One new old stock Powell brand muffler assembly, part number 517B or factory number 211.251.053. This fits VW Type 2 Bus 05/1959 - 08/1960
Weird cross-hatch pattern.
I think the outlet pipe angle might be an issue unless you have the Powell tailpipe(s). |

| Never seen one in real life, here. Is it paint or made from bronze? If used on a vehicle the upholstery must be slick green vinyl diamond pleat tuck-n-roll. |

Isn't that tailpipe angle correct for bastard motors? The dates are right.
