| What is the best carburetor for cold weather? i have a 34 pict now and anytime the car is now warmed up or if im driving in cold weather is does not like to go, like to the point where im babying first gear for 20 seconds or more and the same for second gear. i have heat risers and a oil bath with the stove pipe. my vw guy told me that to accelerator pump isnt working like it should so i replaced that with a german one and it didnt get any better. what am i missing? |

| Don't ASSume, the majority of brand new cars don't work correctly out of the box. they need to be taken apart, cleaned, adjusted and then tested. |

i did this, i took it apart, cleaned it made sure everything looked good, put it back together and had my mechanic tune it. we worked on this carb for a couple hours, mixing new and old parts. then we tried tuning it and it runs okay, but if i floor it it dies. i have to gradually give it gas for it to rev all the way |
