I have an old article from Hot VW's about how to make new backing for interior panels from composite boards. It sounds like a really good idea. I've even read items posted here on the Samba. But I want to know how do you clean the old glue of the material before you reglue it to the new board. Is it just a process of scrapping the glue off, or is there a product availble to save my elbows? Any posting of success stories would be appreciated

| Hmm you may not have to remove old glue if it's reasonably smooth and sound. New glue will bond to old glue. |
