My brake lights work but I have to push the peddle down real hard for them to come on. Is this a sign that the stop light switch's need to be replaced, or is there some other problem that may cause the problem. It's a 71 SB.

| Yeah, the brake light switches are toast. Be careful who you buy the new ones from too. Alot of the aftermarket switches don't last real long if they even work at all. |

| If possible, try to find proven working used ones. I personally would buy those over new Chinese made ones. |

| I do have new switch's that I bought from napa auto. Hopefully there products are still good. If mot I'll buy some german ones. |
