I would like to think that the ad folks found a buggy owner with an open mind, a desire to see their car on tv,and simply put all that stuff on with some water soluble glue.

If not, what the hell, to each his own. I'd take it if it came with the girl. The little gnome would find his pointy little head sticking in the sand pretty quick though.

I like the ad, TV time for Dune Buggies is ALWAYS a good thing ! :D

Just saw it a few minutes ago.

The model is hot, the baby turbos are not.

Not to be wishing the summer away, but gives me the jones for this fall MOTB.

Baby Turbo mirrors are '80s. Billit machined mirrors are '90s.

On your buggy, with the new style wind screen frame they look OK, but on a traditional aluminum buggy wind screen frame they stick out like a cheap afterthought.

BTW, I have a set of nos Vitaloni Baby Turbos on my just completed Baja. I turned 16 in '81 and they are the style I ran "back in the day".
