| i have a 72 super beetle just put a cage in has a 1776 pretty quick little car my plan is to make it like a class 11 so i can cruise local fire roads nothing too crazy then swap the wheels and run a set of 2 liters with low profile tires for driving in the canyons what are thing i could do to inprove my car for both i dont want to lower or lift the car other than swaping big tires for small ones also what is the biggst tire i can fit on a stock super beetle with out too much rubbing |

| Not sure about the MacPherson struts and clearance there, but you may be able to do 30" tires in the rear. Shortening the torsion springs will allow larger tires as you won't have the outer female spline receiver clearance issue. Maybe heavier springs and gas shocks all around |
