I presently run 185 65 r 14 all round on my fairly mildly lowered bus. i'm looking for a tyre of this size to replace a couple that are getting low on tread, load rating is a concern and i would love something with a white band if possible, (although not essential.) At its present height my bus has absolutely no rubbing issues either lock to lock or when accidentally hitting pot holes and i would like to keep this so i'm not too keen run a much taller tyre. but would definately like something with a good load rating. My bus is an empty panel so i dont cart around a bunch of extra weight in the form of a camper interior.
Help appreciated.

Whats mildly lowered? I have my bus lowered on 3 and half inch dropped spindles up front and one spline in the back. At the moment I have 205's in the back and 185's upfront for a trip I just took the bus on, but normally I ride those 185's in the back and 160's up front. Heres a picture of the fat tires on it

Thanks for the pics,mildly lowered in my case means about 7inch drop from standard height but i can still turn and get full suspension travel with out rubbing/ scrubbing. My main concern is not the height but the load rating for tyres.

205/rear and 145/55 or 65/front. Rode great. Used to load it up with parts and cruise to SoCal from SLO with Zero problems. But it had adjustable springplates with Bus IRS in the rear and '73 DB beam with 3"(?) OldSpeed spindles. It was actually lower than the pic in the rear (almost level) when I got all the bugs worked out.

Those are NSU RO-80 14"x5" wheels. Front tires were Federals. Don't remember the rears.
