I made a deal on a ghia with this Empi Steering Wheel. Digging through the parts I found the horn button too. It seems like I may be missing something that goes between the two to hold the horn button in place. Can somebody show me a picture of what I am missing in case I come across it? I'm not sure what I'm looking for (if anything) and don't want to throw it out!

I've been doing some reading here on The Samba, and it sounds like this wheel and horn button are similar to a Datsun wheel, is that correct? Would it be worth my time to stop at a Nissan Dealer to see an exploded view of the horn button assembly and see if they list any parts I'm missing and use those to hold this together?

I doubt you would get anywhere going into to a dealership, There is a place in Snohomish Wa. that specializes in Datsun Z cars.

Thanks for the pictures and tips. I did find the plastic ring, but it wasn't attached to any other parts. Maybe I'll give Zspecialties a call tomorrow.

What's interesting is that I have not even mentioned selling this wheel, but I already have three people interested in it, two from TheSamba and one here locally. If I can make to July, you'll probably see this in my booth at the Vintage Meet in Shoreline. In the mean time, I will entertain offers!
