I've wanted a new company vehicle for a good while......
picked this up last night in west milford, nj.
garaged the last ten years, clean motor, original paint!
hasn't run in awhile, but I'm going to change the oil, gas, put a new battery in and start her up this weekend!!
post more pics tomorrow night!

After not being run for many many years.....I got it cranked over and running sat!!
The starter was bad, so I installed a new one. Found the fuel pump to be bad, so someone fed the carb while I was cranking and I had it running several times for 5 min at a time. Ordered a fuel pump.
I spent some time this morning cleaning out the inside....threw out some carpet that was in it, etc....

pulled out the interior and found only a bit of surface rust in the floor....so I grinded it all clean, spot primed and repainted the floor. Installed the camper interior. I still need to make the panels though and install the table.

| I sure do! I found a vaccuum leak today. the power brake line was crumbling to pieces! Give me a call sometime when you want to stop by! its so nice to have the space to do nice work. you can check out my customers oval too! |

decided that since I have two kids that I needed more space for camping ;)
so I picked up this westy roof section that will be my winter project this year....cut the roof and weld it in!
also pulled the alternator out of the bus and am waiting on a new one to solve my electrical issues... |

got a pair of jalousie windows that I wanted to put in the bus. Both needed new gearboxes....one handle was broken off and the other was frozen. I looked in a few samba threads and bought new torque boxes and drilled out the rivits, and put the new ones in. Pulled out my windows, drilled some holes and in went my jalousies :)
