My problem is that when I pull the wiper switch back no fluid comes out of the nozzle. The spare is inflated. I have disconnected the rubber hoses going into and out of the switch and rigged them together when I put more pressure in the reservoir the fluid comes out of the nozzle so I know the lines are good. When I hook them back up to the switch and put more pressure in the reservoir the fluid comes out of the nozzle and also spills out of the steering colum. Is a new wiper switch my only option? Any help would be great.

I remembare a while back seeing a elec. washer kit looked pretty slick. I think it was in the Rocky Mtn. Catalog.

It's not the wiper switch you need, just the washer valve screwed to the bottom of the switch assy.

72Super;
Earlier this week I stuck a washer reservoir, electric pump and all from a Dodge Caravan into my 71 Bug. Used the same hose going to the squirters, and wired it to a little push button switch I installed.
It was slick and easy. It works great. Let me know if you want any more details.
