While painting my 72 bus this year, I want to do a thourough rust proofing of the floorpan, sills (inside the heater channels), the bottom of the doors etc..
It seems that the POR-15 is the go for the floorpan, but what about inside the sills, and inside the doors? How do I apply what here? How about the rain gutters (channels on the roof)?
Thanks for any help available. |

| Only way to access the inside of the heater channel is to cut it open the weld it shut once done. Remove the door panels to access the inside of the doors. You can easily access the rain gutter with a brush or spray. You can apply POR-15 or other rust preventative product with a brush or regular air spray. There's other products out there besides POR-15 like ZeroRust and Rust Bullet. Just an FYI, check them out. Out of these 3 products only one isn't used for industrial purposes (ship liners, cranes, etc) guess which one  |

| You CAN access your heater channels, either by the floor vents in the front footwells, or by taking out the curved section of channel under the rear seats. There are wax-based products that have extended nozzles that you drag down the channel as you apply the spray. |
