My hinge is fubar, and can not be reamed. It's bad enough that I have to pop the top of the door ( ala Fonzy) to get it to open.
Will this hinge work:??:

I know the ad sez it will work, but I dont want to find out later that it won't.
What do you guys use in place of the rivets on assembly, screws?

| The procedure for replacing the hinge is in the Bentley manual. The factory used flathead screws to replace the rivets. |

Thanks, more importantly though is making sure that the hinge in the link will actually work for the intended application. Any idea? |

I think you will find that your hinge has 4 mounting holes on both sides (body and door) as this replacement hinge only has 3, not sure if it would work correctly or not or how much of a stickler to details you are. |

| I had the same problem. The middle knuckle on the hinge (the half that is riveted to the door) was worn out past the 2nd oversize. I bought some bushings from McMaster-Carr, drilled the hole out to 10mm (?), pushed the bushings in and reinstalled the pin. Works great and I still kept my doors looking original with the rivets still in place. |
