Does it matter which nipple on the switch the hose from the washer bottle connects to? One hose should connect from the switch to the sprayer nozzle, and one to the washer bottle, but not sure if it matters which one goes where. Thanks!

I would think it would matter, as the air pressure from the bottle has to go through a one-way valve.

I agree. I don't want to hook it up backwards, put all the pressure into the system, and then break the valve somehow. Anyone know which hoses goes on which one? Thanks!

Yes it matters. Head over to this thread where I talked about the windshield washer hose connections:

Thanks Andy. That's exactly what I was trying to find before creating this thread. I just came in from the garage (working on the hoses). The pictures you show in that thread are exactly how I hooked them up. It's leaking a little bit from the sprayer nozzle. I think I need to find the correct black hose though. I'm using some clear plastic hose at the moment, and it seems it's not malleable enough to form a tight seal.

Ends up the new switch i just purchased is bad though. It's not holding pressure, and actually lets some washer fluid through even if I'm not pressing it. I do have the NOS '67 European single speed switch that I purchased as well (thinking it was '66 correct because the seller didn't know what it was from and all I had was a picture to go on). It's holding the pressure just fine and works great. I think I'll use it until I find a good period correct switch. Actually, I hope this switch doesn't have a problem too... Makes me wonder why there is enough pressure to make a little bit leak from that hose at the sprayer connection. Will need to keep an eye on it.

CORRECT HOSE PART?: Do I need to order some hose from Wolfsburg West, or can I get "correct" hose from a local auto parts store?

For this hose, I think the stuff from a FLAPS will work fine.
