Dumb question. What type and size of fasteners are used to attach the kick panels?
Screws, clips, ????
(I wish we had a parts catalog like the PET Porsche puts out which lists the fastener types and sizes) |

| Sorry out of state at moment, but I'm sure if you contact Werkberg he would sell you some. They are black in color and shorter than a drywall screw. I'm home on the 9th and can measure them then if needed. |

The originals were oval-head sheet metal screws with what are usually referred to as "finishing washers". The thread was
very similar to what would be found on a U.S. #7 sheet metal screw, but they only make #6 and #8 so you will likely
have to choose between a little loose and a little tight. My '71 bus has two screws per panel, and possibly there were clips
attaching to the fresh-air box above the top edge of the panels (mine are missing). |
