My convertible was put together rather badly at one time but the top was OK. The problem I run into was that the top has no chrome bows moldings on the outer surface. I just got them sent to me. Does any one know the instllation procedure to put them on. I guest I could wing it and make it look fine but I would appreciate some expert help before I screw the instalation up.
I have a 1964 vert and want to install:
1. Header Bow Molding
2. Rear Bow Molding
3. Rear Tack Strip Moulding |

| The 64 did not have trim piece #1. That was on oval era and earlier I believe. Which trim did you get? Is it aluminum (ww) or heavy brass/chrome? I was told you will have to drill pilot holes for the aluminum stuff. Hopefully someone else has more input here. |

| Roger it is (WW) and aluminum. At the very least I need the Rear Tack Stip. The installer my father used 10 years ago made a fabric one that is ugly to say the least but holds the top down. |

| I would contact Chuck at chucksconvertibleparts.com and ask him. I just finished my top on my 64 as well. |
