Quick question as I am close tofinishing the go westy sunroof kit.
As it stands I have the lifting mechanism lined up correctly but cannot seem to find a way to fit the guide gliders on the track. Everything is installed and this is the last thing to do. I see where they would fit but I cannot get them in the track without risking breaking it.
Thoughts or pictures on how it is to line up and finish the install? Thanks |

Two things come to mind, one is you may have the rollers on the flex arm backwards, the other is did you also buy their modified hinges... OEM skylights and The Skylight Guy skylights are made to OEM specs and work with OEM hinges.
Send us a picture of your installation and we can better tell what you might be having a problem with.

| I had to put the arms in the sliding track at an angle before I screwed the mechanism to the roof. It should work if you do the assembly out of the order you would normally think of. |

I have turned the lifting mechainsm around 180 degrees since this picture but still cannot get the white things in the track.
How do I add pictures? |

Figured it out. See the comment I sent recently and the picture below. Keep in mind I rotated the lifting mechanism 180 degrees so the white rollers are facing me.

I'm not sure, but you might have the arm on backwards. (I'm trying to picture it in my head) Try inserting it into the skylight track before you attach the base. That's what worked for me. You can also bend the flex arms slightly to get it in the enlarged holes at the end of the track. I think that's the intent.
