Hi,
Can somebody tell me how i have to pass the oil hoses?
My type1 engine is a 1914cc and is tapped for the full flow system , the stock oil cooler will be left in place .The other parts that i have are the csp oil filter which is mounted with the bumper bracket , a setrab oil cooler which i mounted to the chassis and a CB 180 degrees thermostat .
Any suggestions on how i should pass the oil hoses .

thanks

By "Pass" do you mean "route" the hoses specifically in your car or do you mean what connects to what in general? I know most people have trouble with the thermostat. Take a look in my gallery for a couple diagrams of drysumps that may help. There is also this in the performance Sticky at the top of the page. http://www.huelsmann.us/bugman/FilterTech.html

On the thermostat there say a left and right side. The two on left can go to engine out and engine in. On the right Cooler out and cooler in. This can be tested by blowing air throu it when cold and seeing where the air comes out; then if you boil it in water then blow air into it where does it come out.

Here is what it looks like courtesy of a forum diagram. Yours won't have the Accusump tube shown on the top right.

Also pay attention to the direction of the filter mount. A rookie mistake is to have the flow in the wrong direction. Typical is in on the left out on the right. Look for arrows molded in the metal or an "IN"/"OUT".
