| Did the search didnt find the answer i was looking for i just installed a 56 colum/shaft/wheel/ and blinker in my 63 how do i wire this puppy up? 6 wire to a 3 wire system.Thanks |

that's funny, most people switch to things like that just so they can use the old style snowflake tail lights. You're going the other way though.
All you need to do is ignore 3 of the wires. Basically, keep it like it was in 1963 - the three wires on the stock turn switch in 63 were the same color as the ones you'll want to use on the 6-wire switch.
Use the black/green/white wire for the "S" (49a) terminal. Use the black/white wire for your left side blinkers, and the black/green wire for the right side. Don't use the black/violet, black/red or black/yellow wires.

| Cool thanks Andy yeah i have alot of oval parts from previous vws i just wanted to use an oval steering wheel instead of the org. 63. im going to use my 54 heart tail lights later down the road but ill have to match the paint/patina first Thanks again. |

| Besides the column, wheel & t/s switch, you'll also want to installt the Pre '59 steering shaft as well. |
