I have planned to trip to the US and during the trip I will also visit the Bug-o-rama in Sacramento on the 27th of may and the VW classics in Irvine at the 10th of june

Who of you is going to these shows?
Maybe, I can met some samba member there.

Im going to the Classic, Patrick. I look forward to meeting you. Thats a long trip. At the very least you will see ONE low light cab! :D

Its called Oyster. But yeah, basically, its white in canvas material.
I hope the turnout is big at the Classic...it usually never disappoints!

I would be nice to meet up with some of you. For the Bug-o-rama I will probably there only in the morning and leave again in the early afternoon.

sparkleplenty: John and Udo are too big for my suicase, but on request I can bring some small lowlight parts, lowlight pins or lowlight literature if you want.

Eddie: I am looking forewards of seeing your beautifull car at the classics

Patrick, if you can fit it in, the weekend before, Sunday June 3rd is the Pomona Auto Swap. So many classic cars (VWs, too of course), massive swap meet (VW section too). It only happens every six weeks and its the largest Auto Swap on the West Coast...

Hi Eddie,

I will be around LA during that time, but I am travalling with my wife. Besides bug-o-rama and the Classics, I will also visit some people and shops during my trip.

Going to the Bug-o-rama and the VW Classics and some privite people was the maximum that she accepted. I tried to include the Pomona in the trip, but that was out of the question. :)

Sorry guys,

I missed all of you at the Sacramento bug-o-rama. I couldn't login to The samba with my iPhone. I wanted to tell you all that i was wearing a black T-shirt from the Hessisch oldendorf lowlight meeting.

I don't knowhow your faces.
I looked for lowlight cars, but those were either modified for racing or for sale AS restoration project. OK, there was one custom painted lowlight on the show field.

For the people who want to meet me at The classics.... I will be wearing lightbrown bad Camburg T-shirt.
