I'm looking for suggestions for a good wheel / tire combo for a drag racing setup on my '64. I currently have four wheel Old Speed disc brakes with Porsche turbo twists wheels (17" fronts, 18" rears) running street tires. Rear fenders are 1" wider fiberglass. Front fenders are stock steel.
Engine is a 2332cc with T04E Garrett turbo set at 15psi (for now). Tranny is a Rancho pro street. Currently running low 13's.
I want to buy a set of lightweight Porsche pattern wheels that I can swap out on race night. Any ideas?
What size and type of tires would you recommend for the front and rear?
