Restoring a 1970 TypeI from the ground up with a few modifications. The pan is back from powdercoat and now ready for new disc brakes and wheels. Front will have a 2" narrowed beam w/ dropped spindles from CB Performance and back to remain at standard height with disc brakes added.
I have found 15x6 wheels but they have a zero offset (3.5" backspace). The bolt pattern for these wheels would be chevy 4.75". I will have the rotors set up for same if this wheel can fit inside wheelwells without issues. Being that the car is in many peices I cannot do any measurements!
So I am seeking your expert advice. Photos of any similar setup you have is welcome. |
