After attending a few swap meets and seeing all the cool customized Little Red Wagons I just had to build one of my own. I bought a red wagon at one of the shows with every intention of using it as the base for my bus-wagen but soon found myself building one from scratch. Here are a couple pics fresh from the paint shop.
I used 20 guage sheet metal for the body and 1x1 square tubing for the chassis. The tires are 7" lawn mower tires I got from Lowes. I will start to assemble tomorrow and post a few more pics |

Found some time today to assemble the bus-wagen and took a few pics. Even the dog wanted a ride! I have a few more things left to do such as the floor and need to make a symbol for the front.
Its first swap will be this weekend at the Charlotte Transporter Show on saturday and hopefully off to Fast Times at Farmington on sunday. Just a few of many swaps I hope. |
