i was taking off my engine tin today at the garage that my bus its being worked on at ( to help out the mechanic b/c hes swamped, and to save myself some $$ in labor) and they were rusty as all heck , and most of them didnt wanna come out, but with a little help from a b.f.h. (i hope everyone knows what a bfh is) and a impact screwdri9ver i got all but 2 out . on my way home for the night i decided that maybe scoring stainless bolts instead of the steel screws may be a good idea so if it ever needs torn apart again, and im sure someday it will, itll save me the stripped phillips screw blues... only problem is , i didnt think of it before i left , so i dont have one to compare new ones to at work tomorrow. so that leads to my question .... finally. does anyone have one laying around that they could check the size and pitch or does anyone know the size and thread pitch off the top of their head? ratwell seems to know ALOT of stuff so hopefully he can save the day (or ANYONE for that matter) i think it is 8mmx1.5 or pretty close, but i really dont have a clue. any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks

| I'll check tomorrow. I hae a few laying around. I know it takes a 10mm socket, but I don't know the thread size/pitch offhand. |

The tin screws are 6 x 1.0
Any 8mm bolt will be 1.25, not 1.50 |
