How to post photos
I had posted this on the "other" website - but I think it would be better served here...so here goes.
I FINALLY after a lot of trials and tribulations got my 57 up and running as it was intended! I've had quite a few issues with some shops in my area, and after 3 YEARS, I finally got it dialed in and its better than ever. All's well that ends well! Thanks to all on the registry who helped me out.
So, I took the car out for a nice long drive today. God I missed it. I forgot how much I loved driving it. I've gotten bitten again. Its going to be a fun summer!
So what did you do with your 356 today? |

Used it a few times this week, but it was rainy today. Moved it inside and drove the bus instead. |

I plan on driving it this weekend in between my house/yard work. Weather is supposed to be great. |

See above post. So much for a good day. Not sure if I'm mad or bummed. I guess I'm both. Rolled my 356 outside & went to start it. It cranked for maybe 3 seconds then bang. tried to crank it again & just a click. Put it in gear, rolled it a little, tried again & the starter just spins. I guess I'll be pulling the starter & hoping that's all it is. Hopefully the flywheel is o/k. Ruined my weekend. |

Just bought a hood handle but needs to be recromed. Now if only I can find those rare turn signals!!! I'd even settle for repops at this point. |

Took another drive in the country side but with my wife this time. She likes the car. It is amazing the amount of people who wave or give me a thumps up. Most of them probably don't even know what it is. Kids seem to really like it too. |

Cool '54! I guess that is what they mean when people talk about replacing the bottom 6 inches? :) Then again you could just get it roadworthy and leave it as. |

Took an 86 mile drive this morning because the weather was nice for a change... the turnaround point was a favorite beach.
