Who's bus is this in the link? A friend coming home from WVa sent me a text with a pic of this bus. It was setting at an Exon station.

Which bus?The red one is Andrews from SC the turkis 23 is Dons from somewhere near Cincinnati. When they went home they'd be going in different directions both really nice busses though.

That 23 window is super crazy nice. I drooled all over it at CTS.

It's just funny a friend coming back from WVa sends me a pic of the bus by text. I had just got of the PC looking and the last pic I looked ay was Andrew's and Don's bus. Just strange. Don if you read this I have a pic of the bus at the rest stop on the WVa line

It looks like Bob's from Michigan's bus. I read in Hot VW's that Bob recently passed so I dont know if the bus was sold or what's the story. His was a '63 23.

Definitely not Bob's old Bus. Donald had that restoration completed back in '98.

He's not really online all that much like a lot of people.

DaveB, if you want to send me that pic ([email protected]) I can get it to him. I'm sure he'd like to see it.

Wow...that was a 98 resto? That was an even better job than I thought. I was thinking this looks great, but let's see it in a couple years (the typical vw resto's with shit that starts to pop out (not talking about windows).) Guess I did...lol. He was a really nice guy, I'm glad to find out the bus is the same.

Yeah that bus is sick...I looked at the rear of it for alot of the trip down to CTS. Way clean and with a all OG interior to boot.

I guess I should clarify..that Donald told me that back when he resto'd it..the headliner was replaced the seats are OG just restitched. His attention to detail is was really nice..the whole bus is really clean

Super nice bus.

If you look close at the door panel screws they all point in the same direction.

"the devil is in the detail"

I am glad he drove it down and let us drool over it. =P~
