Heres a couple pics of the hitch we fabbed up last week on my wifes d cab. It bolys onto the bumper brackets with supports going bacl to the bracket to frame bolts as well. Then it comes out underneath the bumper wih out cutting the bumper. Sorry my pics arnt much better but hopefuloly you get the idea . It works great . On here bus she has an A1 sidewinder heade which made it nice and easy for clearance reasons. Im going to fab one up for my bus but it will be a lil more tricky due to im running a vintage speed exhaust on mine. If i get time to get some better pics i will and post them up.

| I know it's not a real priority, but if you were to make a few of those for the A1 and the Vintage Speed exhaust, I'm sure they would sell. |

| Tongue weight would have to be very limited. Good for pulling a light utility trailer, but that's about it. |

Remember seeing a Westfalia type that mounted back to the transmission. Here's the link

I am all about this. If I wasnt planning on changing my exhaust in the near future. (A1 or Vintage Speed) I would have picked one of these up already. |

If not mistaken, if running an A1 sidewinder, it clears fine. I don't know about the Vintage Speed though. |

scroll down about half way..
I've been running it since 2008, no problems with the hitch. Tows level, which is important since being level keeps the trailer from wandering. |
