run into this problem installing new seals (kgpr) in the pop out window openings. it seems the outside of the seal in the deepest part of the curvature doesn't want to keep seated. anyone have this problem and solve it? it seems the outside perimeter of the rubber seal is shorter than the inside perimeter of the seal. if i compress the rubber into the curvature it kinks the inner section of the seal.yes i have moved the rubber up and down in this area with the same result. rubber problem? thanks

I don't have a solution but wanted to add that I have the same problem w/those seals on my 72. I'm pretty sure but not positive that my seals aren't the originals either.
In my case the seals have actually drawn out nearly 1/2" in that corner on both popout windows. Unfortunately rain had leaked through those opennings for quite a while on mine.
I'm highly interested if theres a fix (besides replaceing them)

old rubber on left, new rubber on right. the inner seal of the new rubber sets out more than the outer seal. the old rubber on the left has the outer seal setting out more than the inner seal section. i think this is why the new rubber doesn't want to seat properly.
