I have had alot of questions from friends and people about what I planned to build next after finishing my DC well....... Here it is.This is a build for a friend. Im going to pick up where he left off and with any luck see this 15 window through till the end.

Let me start off by saying that this bus is jacked up! and is going to need almost every square inch of it gone over. So lets dig into to this bus!
I started today off by removing the complete left long side panel and tomorrow I plan to weld in some roof supports and cross braces then cut out all the floor cross members and top hats. With any luck I will have a large order of Auto Craft metal by then end of the month to start building it.

And here is where I ended my day.....

up hill challenge for sure, but nothing you cant handle based off your double cab build. will be following this one.

Im really stoked to be building this bus for my friend I know the bus is important to him and I will do my best to bring this beat down old VW bus back to life. Im mean after all it is a turkis walkthru 15 window 8)

You must be a glutton for punshiment :) , your friend is also ONE lucky hombre. I wish I was closer we could put some carbon paper under that one and duplicate it to mine. I'm watching you :D

What a wreck, not going to be too much og metal on that thing by time you are done, but that is definitely a bus worth saving.

Corey this bus looks like what we have to work with out here in. Ohio!
I'm sure youll make it a show stopper if its even half as nice as your Dcab!!

Do you have any idea how many hours you will have into the fitting, welding and grinding for this project? I'm just curious how much time is involved in some of these monsters.
