I have a71 VW Westphalia bus that has severe rust below the window glass, a problem common with these buses. I need the source of the sheet metal replacement piece that covers the entire window opening and about three-four inches below the opening. I have seen them before, about $250, but I have lost the source.

Any help, please email me ASAP as this unit goes to the body shop in a few weeks.

I know, but my da*n spell checker kicked in and corrected it to that spelling as I hit the send button. Sorry about that and thanks for the tip. I believe that Bus Depot has the metal nose skin, so I fired off an email to them about the problem.

I'll also check with Gerson about my Westfalia nose.

Thanks, but I already bought those pieces. The damage was too extensive for those to work. I need a larger section.

sucks they kinda used a torch to cut mine off my bus...it was rust free and fairly straight at the window....but they cut it like 6 inches in on both sides :( i wudda givin it to ya...
