Hello, need help with location of moldings on the interior door panels for an early Convertible.
Old panels had none and I'm now in the process of fitting new panels and have loose moldings.
It is the location of the two lower 'chrome' strips that I'm wondering about.
Are the moldings evenly distanced vertically from bottom of door panel to bottom of door pocket?
Are they evenly distanced horizontally front to rear, front of door panel to tip of molding and end of molding to rear of door panel?
Distance from tip of molding to edge of door panel front and rear appreciated.
Also distance from middle of molding to lower edge of door panel appreciated.
Thanks, Anders

here is a picture of my 63 coupe panel. the bottom edge of the lower molding is approx 17mm-18mm from the bottom of the panel. the moldings are approx 13-14 mm apart from inside edge to edge.

hope this helps |

Thanks, it does help some. Would be interesting to know the distance from top upper molding to bottom of pocket?
Lengthwise it looks like they are slightly biased to the front of the door but that could be just the picture.
Guess I will have to make an approximation anyway.
