| The red kote product calls for a cleaning with water soluble detergent. Sounds simple enough, but I wanted to see what other have used with success. Not looking to create more work for myself. Thank in advance. |

I used Castrol Super Clean degreaser and flushed with hot water. Let air dry and cleaned again with acetone twice. Then added the Damon Red Kote as per instructions.
I still have not added any fuel to the tank. I will give it a few weeks to cure. |
