| Got my speedo workin... The cable was just sunk way too far into the spindle. I thought it was sheered off this whole time, or the cap was worn out. So upon gazing onto my working speedo... my starter starts up... in my driveway after hitting a bump. Luckilly i swapped the reap deck pan the other day with a peice of galvanized sheet metal a freind of mine gave me... The install looked good. Quick thinking... Pulled the key out of the ign. Starter kept going. So i tore off the ground off the battery. Pulled the new "Starter cover" off to find that the "Trigger wire" the small red one... was layin across the big red wire... and the solonoid. Needless to say... its fixed now... but my new pan looks like a fruit roll up. |
